Great to see you here, and I'...Wine and Words,

Great to see you here, and I'm thrilled you got a chance to experience a little of my Aunt Peg. All of us have a chance, I think, to be regarded with the deepest affection, if we hold up togetherness in the light of the sun.
You obviously seek inspiration in the world around you... and for those who can see your eyes, and be together with you from time to time... isn't that the story? "I once knew a seeker name Wine and Words..." I could see that.
Thank you so much for being together with me. I look forward to learning more about you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15840330115866846549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2548010454583144284.post-49634122571529798582009-10-02T15:41:10.664-05:002009-10-02T15:41:10.664-05:00I loved it. Nice tribute to Aunt Peg. I will also ...I loved it. Nice tribute to Aunt Peg. I will also be dancing to the restroom no doubt...dancing to the grave. Hope someone like you takes notice and blogs about it one day. Certainly my kids will be shielding their eyes, 'cuz they don't like my moves! Whatever! Shake what your momma gave ya!Wine and Wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06778785233226804217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2548010454583144284.post-5147230614424321662009-09-29T16:09:05.173-05:002009-09-29T16:09:05.173-05:00Ande,
I'm happy to allow you to imagine my Au...Ande,

I'm happy to allow you to imagine my Aunt Peg in epic terms. She's a hell of a woman. Interestingly I heard on the radio this morning a story about how women are learning to hunt (taking classes in shooting guns, and cutting up the carcass) in greater numbers then ever. I personally think that's basically a good thing. Many people disagree, and I respect that. But I believe the old ways can only serve to remind us the value of our accomplishments.
In some ways I suppose I am in love with things like classical music and "electrified music" and computers and cars and other stuff that is inseparable from civilization. Therefore, I love civilization.
But where people become so softened by the manner in which societal structure becomes the active force: the machine beeps! it's time for dinner! The clock clangs! it's time to be awake! The darkness surrounds you: hey, the lights went out! No, you might say: darkness is not the lights went out. Darkness is the state of the world, without light, but to assume for the light, is to welcome an oblivion of "midwifing" machinery.
There are great stories about people getting lost in city parks and dying of starvation, or injury: it simply had never occurred to some of these poor souls that they might ever not be taken care of!
Thanks for your comments.
By the way, I only realized you were a programmer yesterday. Sorry about that. I'd like to discuss DNA with you, if you wouldn't mind. My brother spoke with me about it as a Base 4 system, and I just wonder what you've ever thought about it.
It's been great to experience your thoughts!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15840330115866846549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2548010454583144284.post-51883230295092662942009-09-29T13:00:25.683-05:002009-09-29T13:00:25.683-05:00The Midwest and some of the people you describe so...The Midwest and some of the people you describe sounds like a dream to me. That ripe lady is the best, so full of energy. The Midwest seems a still quite untamed place; it makes me happy. Civilization really is the double edged blade; I have never met as bankrupt individuals in my life as those truly” over civilized“(I have met quite a few of those people; old friends and new turning into these perfect representations of themselves (as you wrote about in a e-mail, I think), and they make my stomach hurt, too)). They seem to have lost the will to use their senses and body. That’s what I like in (at least my image of) your country; many people seems to be allergic against the most flagrant cases of over-civilization.Anders Enochssonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05971413442536196199noreply@blogger.com
